Return & Refund Policy

Stockfishhub.com is operated by Mama Bridget AS, based in Oslo, Norway. We are committed to delivering high-quality stockfish products. Due to the perishable nature of our goods, this policy is designed in line with Norwegian consumer protection laws, including the Right of Withdrawal Act (Angrerettloven) and the Consumer Purchases Act (Forbrukerkjøpsloven).

1. Eligibility for Returns (Complaints)

We accept returns or complaints only under the following conditions:

The product is defective, damaged, or incorrect at the time of delivery.

You must notify us within 48 hours of receiving your order.

You must provide your order number and clear photo evidence.

The item must be unused and in its original packaging where applicable.

Under Norwegian law, you have the right to complain about defective goods within a reasonable time. Our 48-hour window ensures food safety and proper handling of perishable goods.

2. Non-Returnable Items

For health, hygiene, and safety reasons, we do not accept returns for:

Perishable food items after 48 hours of delivery

Opened or used products

Products returned outside the approved timeframe

3. Right of Withdrawal (Angrerett)

According to the Right of Withdrawal Act (Angrerettloven):

The 14-day withdrawal right does not apply to perishable goods (such as food items that can quickly spoil or expire).

Therefore, orders cannot be returned or cancelled after delivery unless they are faulty, damaged, or incorrect.

4. Return Process

To initiate a complaint or return request:

1. Contact us at mb@mamabridget.com

2. Provide your order number, description of the issue, and photos

3. Wait for approval and instructions before sending any item back

Important: Do not return items without prior approval.

5. Return Deadline

If your return is approved, the item must be sent back or made available for collection within 24 hours of approval.

6. Refunds

Once your claim is reviewed and approved:

Refunds are processed within 5–7 business days

Refunds are issued to your original payment method

If the issue is confirmed to be our fault (damaged, defective, or incorrect item), you are entitled to a refund in accordance with Norwegian consumer law.

7. Shipping Costs

If the return is due to our error, we will cover return shipping or arrange pickup

In all other cases, return costs are the responsibility of the customer (if applicable)

8. Late or Missing Refunds

If you have not received your refund:

9. Order Cancellations

Orders may only be cancelled before they are processed or shipped

Once shipped, orders cannot be cancelled due to the perishable nature of the goods

STANDARD DELIVERY(Norway only): 2-5 working days.

WAREHOUSE COLLECTION: Free collection from our store, open Monday to Friday, 10 AM to & 6 PM.

INTERNATIONAL DELIVERY: 14 working days.
